Elliott Jones College coach

Elliott Hamilton Jones was an American football coach. He served as the first head football coach at Vanderbilt University. Jones played and coached with the Vanderbilt Commodores as team captain for three seasons from 1890 to 1892, compiling a record of 8–5.By 1921, Jones was working as an attorney at law in Kansas City, Missouri.
