George Thomson Rugby player
George Thomas Thomson (birth registered October–December 1856 — 31 October 1899 (aged 41–42)) birth registered in Halifax, was a rugby union footballer of the 1870s and '80s, playing at representative level for England, and at club level for Halifax, as a Forwards, e.g. Front row, Lock, or Back row, he died in Sydney. Prior to Tuesday 27 August 1895, Halifax was a rugby union club.
