Gifford Nielsen American football player
Stanley Gifford Nielsen (born October 25, 1954) is a former NFL quarterback who played for the Houston Oilers. He was the sports director of KHOU-TV in Houston, Texas, until March 31, 2009. He has been a general authority of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) since April 2013.
