Hans-Georg Borck Military person

Hans-Georg Borck (24 September 1921 – 8 May 2011) was a highly decorated Hauptmann in the Wehrmacht during World War II. He was also a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. Hans-Georg Borck was captured by American troops in April 1945 and released in November 1945.
