Hans-Günther Bethke Military person

Hans-Günther Bethke (20 May 1913 – 14 September 1942) was a highly decorated Hauptmann in the Wehrmacht during World War II. He was also a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. Hans-Günther Bethke was killed on 14 September 1942 near Leningrad.
