Immo Fritzsche Military person

Immo Fritzsche (16 December 1918 – 14 December 1943) was a highly decorated Hauptmann in the Luftwaffe during World War II and a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. During his career he flew 700+ missions. Immo Fritzsche was killed on 14 December 1943 near Schiroskaja, Russia. He was posthumously promoted to Hauptmann.
