Karl Alm Military person

Karl Adolf Alm (4 January 1919 – 23 November 1944) was a highly decorated Major in the Wehrmacht during World War II. He was also a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. Karl Alm was killed on 23 November 1944. He was posthumously promoted to Major.
