Lloyd Dane Nascar driver
Lloyd Dane (born August 19, 1925) is a former NASCAR Grand National Series driver from Eldon, Missouri. He participated part-time in the 1951 and 1954 to 1964 seasons, capturing 4 wins, all in his own car. 2 of his wins came in the 1956 season when he finished a career best 23rd in points.First started racing in 1949. He was the first NASCAR west champion. He took the championship in 1954, 1956, and 1957, he also drove a beautiful Hudson Hornet, that was said to be "the fastest car around", which he drove to his 1954 championship, along with long time personal friend Tim Flock.
