Peter Hartley Cricketer

Peter John Hartley is an English first-class cricketer and umpire. Hartley made his debut for Warwickshire in 1982. He moved to Yorkshire in 1985, and stayed there until 1997, when he relocated to Hampshire. When he retired at the end of the 2000 season, Hartley was Hampshire's opening bowler. As of 2007, he was a Test official, performing television umpire duties in four Test matches, and four One Day Internationals. He has also umpired in two Twenty20 internationals between England and Pakistan in 2006, and England and West Indies in 2007.
