Peter Nevill Cricketer

Peter Nevill (born 13 October 1985) is a New South Wales cricketer, originally born in Hawthorn, Victoria. Peter Nevill is a wicket-keeper-batsman with a reasonable first class average of 39.53. Nevill made his first class debut for New South Wales against Victoria at the Melbourne Cricket Ground between February 15 and 17 2009. In this match, Nevill made 18 and 0 and took 1 catch. As of 29 July 2011, Nevill has played 12 first class matches, 11 list A matches and 3 twenty20 matches, all domestically for the New South Wales Blues. Nevill switched from VIctoria to New South Wales in 2008 to improve the New South Wales squad after the Test promotion of fellow wicket-keeper Brad Haddin. In the 2011/12 season Nevill has averaged 67 with the bat in First Class Cricket for NSW including a top score of 112*n. o against Tasmania. In March 2012 he was called up to the Australian squad in their tour of the West Indies.
