Russ Letlow American football player

Russ Letlow (October 5, 1913 - October 12, 1987) was a football guard who was chosen by the Green Bay Packers as their first-round draft pick in the inaugural 1936 NFL Draft. At the time, Letlow was unaware that he had been selected, and had signed with the Chicago Cardinals following the conclusion of his collegiate football career at the University of San Francisco.In Letlow's rookie season, the Packers won their fourth World Championship (and first championship game). Letlow played for the Packers from 1936–42, and again in 1946. He was selected as an All-Pro for four straight seasons from 1937-1940.Letlow was inducted into the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame in 1972.
