Rich Tylski American football player

Richard Lee Tylski (born February 27, 1971 in San Diego, California) is a former professional American football player. Tylski, an offensive lineman, played seven seasons in the National Football League, mainly for the Jacksonville Jaguars. He played college football for Utah State University. A judge has ordered former Jacksonville Jaguar Richard Tylski and his wife to pay $1.2 million in damages after a civil trial stemming from child abuse allegations. Tylski and his wife, Jane, both denied abusing their former foster daughter, Janie. The civil lawsuit was filed by attorney ad litem Hugh Cotney on behalf of the girl. Photos show bruises and marks all over Janie's body. A judge determined in court that those photos proved the then-6-year-old girl had been abused by her former foster parents for years. The judge said $250,000 the couple has been ordered to pay is for Jane Tylski for breaking the girl's finger and leg by bending them backwards. "This is to help her for future medical needs, counseling," said attorney Robert Spohrer, who represented the girl. "And the fractures mainly affected the growth plates, so there maybe future orthopedic procedures necessary. A lot of that remains to be seen."
